DTPA chelated iron "Rexene FeD12"
The chemical name is sodium salt of diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid iron!
"Rexene FeD12" is DTPA chelated iron. Due to its high solubility, it can be easily dissolved in concentrated tanks. DTPA iron is considered to be more stable than EDTA iron at pH levels ranging from 1.5 to 7.5. Compared to EDTA iron, the likelihood of precipitates such as iron hydroxide and iron phosphate is lower. Being a crystalline powder, it contains almost no impurities. It is less likely to cause clogging in strainers and tubes.
